Mar. 7th, 2007 @ 05:56 pm Another long trek/walk/climb/whatever - Upper Pierce to MacRitchie
Hi Everyone,
Adlus is organising a walk/trek from Casuarina to MacRitchie, instead of the usual other way round. Better this way cos by the time it gets hot, we would have hit the more shaded part of the route. This walk would include the Tree Top walk as well before we continue towards MacRitchie.

Time : 9.45am (We set off at 10am sharp)
Date : Saturday 10th Mar 07
Meet : The little carpark along the Junction of Yio Chu Kang Road and Upper Thomson Road (It's next to Sembawang Baptist Church)
Duration : 3-4hrs (Estimate only)
Bring : Water, Proper Shoes(!!!), change of clothes, food, cap, face towel, camera etc
Purpose : Calory burning (I hope)
Parking : Park at MacRitchie Park and Take 163 or 855 (I think) up till Casuarina. Abt 15mins ride. Don't be late!
Map of meeting point: Map

We might be at end point at about 2pm, so if you are the sort that cannot handle a little hunger, bring some munchies along. Or better still pack yr lunch or just bring a protein bar. There are coffeeshops at meeting place but please don't hold back the group ya?

For further details please see this link.

See you there

When : 19 Aug 2006, Saturday, 730pm till late
Theme : Naturally 7even

Ok, some of you might be wonder, what should I wear, what should I bring, how much, yada yada yada.

FAQs
What to wear?
Come in your natural best! Get dress in NATURE theme or wear something that has the number "7" imprints on. Get creative! However, I would advise you people to go light as the place is NOT aircon-ed! hehehe :p

What to bring?
BYOB. That is, bring your own booze la! We will be providing the cups, ice, some alcohol and the initial batch of mixers as well as SOME finger food

How much?
It's FREE! Yes, there's nothing wrong with your eye sight. Thanks to some wonderful people who are committed to ADLUS and believing inADLUS. This cost of this event will be absorbed by the organisers. However, if you are too busy to bring on anything, then perhaps you might want to contribute "a bit" towards the party fund so the organisers dun have to foot out as much from their own pocket!

Will food be served during the party?
Dun expect to be fed! We dun have that sort of budget($$ coming from our own pocket)! So please come AFTER your dinner. We will only have some finger food to go with the booze.. dun think that's sufficient... however, if there's a willing man/woman who dun mind being eaten by you, go ahead, by all means!

Where the hell is this Cranwell place?!
Here's the direction to get to the place. Click on this site.http://www.aloha.gov.sg/sections/changi/changi_location.htm
